Are You On Board?

A story in our Pumps and Valves section this month discusses the latest efforts of the Hydraulic Institute and the Pump Systems Matter organization to increase awareness of the energy cost of pump systems. Given today's cost of energy and the economic environment, would you think such an effort is even necessary and that engineers are already accounting for such constraints in designing their products and projects?
