Are You Ready for a New Job?

With all the layoffs, furloughs, and firings globally a multitude of technical personnel are sprucing up their resumes in the event they become jobless. While it's always good practice to have a current resume on hand for opportunity's sake, are you prepared for such a circumstance? Do you have a list of prospective employers should the unforeseen happen? Or, are you secure enough in your present position (or financial condition) that you don't have to worry about it?
