Executive Compensation Too High?

Excessive executive compensation is in the news these days. Banks and insurance companies pay huge bonuses to executives even when they lose money. Is this true in pump-related industries, too? What can we do about it?

The second part of the question seems to assume that the answer to the first part is "yes". If the answer is "no" then we need do nothing about it.
