Be Connected: Online Seminars for Infrastructure Professionals

Posted July 13, 2009 9:04 AM by Moose

Be Connected is an online seminar series for infrastructure professionals. It provides educational and informative content about real-world infrastructure projects and the best practices and software products used to design, build and operate them. Sponsored by Bentley Systems, Be Connected allows participants to exchange ideas with other architects, engineers, contractors, and owner/operators.

Be Connected uses streaming media via the Web. It is available at no charge to anyone who registers, and delivers professional-level content usually found at trade and professional organization conferences. This online seminar series also allows you to learn and connect with other infrastructure professionals without the expense and hassle of travel.

Be Connected offers a wide variety of content across multiple disciplines and specific formats. Leading industry professionals provide a "project perspective" on best practices for the design, construction and operation of specific types of infrastructure projects. These projects include bridges, cadastre and land development, electric and gas utilities, high performance buildings, mining and metals, oil and gas, rail and transit, roads, and water and wastewater.

Although there are many Be Connected seminars, infrastructure professionals may be especially interested in upcoming ones for OpenPlant, AutoPlant, ConstructSim, and promise.e. The following sections list these course offerings and provide links with more information.
