Biased Science

Gender equity in science and mathematics has been proven to be greatly influenced by implicit stereotypes. In fact, these biases help continue the cycle, contributing to under-achievement and a lack of participation among girls and women. Essentially, people (both men and women) tend to associate scientific concepts with men. What can be done to alter prevailing stereotypes?
