The Sheikh of Dubai spent over $11 million on 12 Thoroughbred yearlings at the Fasig Tipton Saratoga auctions.

Kentucky Derby winner Mine That Bird had surgery to repair an entrapped epiglottis on Tuesday - he's still expected to run in the Travers (the "midsummer Derby) on August 29.

A very cute interview with Preakness and Haskell winner Rachel Alexandra.

Things aren't looking so good for the giant panda in China.

Female birds go for the smart guys.
