I am a Mechanical Engineer from Alberta, Canada. I work in the design and construction of heavy industrial facilities, typically power plants and oil refineries. Currently, I am a construction manager at a 100,000 barrel per day heavy oil upgrader being built near Edmonton, Alberta.
I help run a charity in Mexico called Atzin. It works to develop water, health and sanitation projects to very impoverished regions in the mountains of central Mexico. I've worked for a few years in Mexico building combined cycle power plants and managed to pick up Spanish along the way.
