My avatar is a picture of me & my colleagues in our spare time pastime of staging public firework displays, we do about 12 each year. This one is on the beach at Hastings, Sussex, UK. This is the culmination of Hastings week around 14th Aug every year to commemorate the battle of Hastings. The event attracts 20-30,000 spectators & raises money for local charities. If you look closely at the base of the firework streams you can just make out our figures lighting the fireworks by hand.
