I am a consultant who does machine design, mechanical design, and mechanical drafting per DOD and commercial standards. I do solid modeling to design, preferably in Mechanical Desktop, which I own, but could also use Pro-E Wildfire II and III, which I also own. I could renew my solidworks subscription, which I let lapse, if the job were significant.
