I played and listened to music since I was in the band, 6th grade through college. Now age has done in my ears (monaural diplacusis) can't hear or carry a tune in a bucket. This loss has to be some kind of punishment for something I did or didn't do. Anyway the Shriners Oriental Band and a bell tree or drum is now my only out. I still have all the melodies in my head and there they sound right.
