    Biography

47 years old, I have a BS in Mechanical Engineering (1984) and a Masters of Divinity (2008).

I started my career at Southwest Research Institute doing NDT inspections at nuclear plants. I then moved to the Applied Physics division and did pulsation/vibration studies, both in the field and on the analog.

From there I moved to Bently Nevada in Houston where I was the regional field service manager for the machinery diagnostics group. Traveled all over the world solving machinery dynamics problems.

After that I went to the central engineering group at Lyondell Chemical where I was a rotating machinery engineer supporting 23 plants in the US and in Europe.

And finally I have landed the the engineering support organization of a major integrated oil company that is headquartered in Europe. I work in the KL office and I support oil production facilities throughout Asia.

I am a PE in Texas and Delaware, a Category 4 vibration analyst per ISO, and I used to be a Level III NDT engineer certified in UT, MT, and PT. I let that expire...

I have also published 12 papers at a variety of symposium, especially the Texas A&M Turbomachinery Symposium.

    Vibration guy

My specialty is rotating machinery dynamics which means that I have a lot of interest in vibration instrumentation, as well as process machinery instrumentation.
