Quality Manager Job description

Anybody got a Tidy and Concise QA Manager or Director of Continuous Improvement job description they can share?

Typically I develop a Wants/ Needs Analysis document for the personal attributes/qualifications and a separate Responsibilities / Authorities Document for the position, but that seems to be too flippin logical for the powers that be...

Well, I'm looking for manufacturing and machining, but the responsibilities and authorities I would expect to be shared widely regardless of industry.

QA Manager

Management Rep

· Knowledge of QA Systems with additional 1 year experience in relevant product specification (API-16D) area.

· Maintain QA Program

· Coordinate internal audits

· Maintain NCR, CAR & PAR System

· Maintain Statistics Report

· Coordinate changes to QA System documents

· The President has given the authority to (Management Rep) establish, implement and maintain QA processes within the company.

· QA Systems Manual. All procedures and WI as performed.

Review Frequency - Annually

*************************************************************

This is a fairly small manufacturing facility, and I am actually the manager of technical services, which includes engineering, quality, manufacturing data, and training departments.

NCR= Non Conforming Report

CAR= Corrective Action Report

PAR = Preventive Activities Reporting?
