I say good for them, but I doubt that they will be able to gain 100% fleet conversion, or that heavy equipment will stop being diesel powered. But that is OK. City traffic will be for the cities. Are the Norwegians banning hybrid vehicle sales as well?

One final point: With over 99% of electricity generation from hydroelectric in Norway, what happens if the dam-busters come? Thor only needs to tap his hammer on a dam one time, and she lets go.

Wink wink, nod nod. At least all that "evil" oil that my brother-in-law slaved for by welding on their offshore rigs in the North Sea will go to good use in Texas.

When they would go to port at Stavanger, Norway, they would go eat, get beer, take the beer back to "the shop", and get howling drunk. Then they would take and set a tennis ball in a drill pipe or other suitable piece of 40' long tubing, about 10' in. Then they would open the gases on a cutting torch, and back fill that 10' section with acetylene/oxygen in a good ratio. Next they would pass the lit torch near the end of the pipe with the fuel in it, and WHAMMO! They were shooting tennis balls across the freeway over there (a good ways off in the distance).

Someone (not Leon) got the bright idea to put a beer bottle ahead of the tennis ball. They fired that one off, and it also went just barely over the freeway, but very suddenly they were hearing Dee-Daw, Dee-Daw... it was the Politiet coming for a visit.

Yep. That is the way these days. No bother aiming, just fire it off in the ether, and she what pops out of the brush.

By the way, the character, Thor Gunderson, from Norway, was (finally) hanged for his crimes against humanity this weekend in Hell on Wheels.
