# How To Do A Vessel Pressure Finite Element Simulation

04/10/2017 9:21 AM

Dear sirs:

Recently I just do a vessel pressure finite element simulation, different boundary gave me different answers, and the answers varied a lot, I am very puzzled about that, so are there some examples about this?

thanks a lot

Yes of course. It does, boundary conditions are external forces on the body(constraints) and initial conditions.

The requirements for doing FEA simulation is you have to read or watch lots of tutorials in youtube. It is not a generic medicine that will work for everyone. You need to be rooted in the principles of physics and engineering. Or else, you end up to a big mess.

FEA softwares will give you result, even a non-engineering dudes could do that. The only problem is interpretation, soundness and significance.

Against my greater impulses, I grant you one good answer for that.

ha ha, thanks

I am absent from CR4 for a long time,I want to know something about lyn, he did not appear since April 2th.

I want to tell him i miss him and his humor so much.

Dear Sir: Thanks a lot, I happen to be a non-engineering dude, I plan to read some books about this topic and compare the results with the burst test, I will explain the different with a detailed example. And I wish i can find some useful tutorials. I am mainly puzzled about the rigid displacement and the inertia relief and the bolt connection(glue is not ok, bonded is not ok either) with your help,I hope I can find the answer finally. thanks a lot again

Just give us a little heads up warning when you do the burst test, so we can move back a distance, OK? Ha Ha.

Dear Sirs:

I am so happy to find the way to do the simulation!

Maybe it is still wrong, but the maximum stress occurring is the same place with the burst test! and I will study it further!

Thanks you all!

It is like changing the coefficients of an equation and getting a totally different answer when you solve it.

I thought that was the intended effect?

How would one expect to have the same results with different inputs.

Insanity is the process of inputting the same variables into the situation and expecting different results.
