City of Carrollton Wins Georgia Tap Water Taste Test

I hope that link works. I knew it wasn't Carrollton, TX, because we spell ours with a TX at the end, and TX water always tastes like water, but in Georgia, the water tastes like wawduh!

In Massachusetts, it tastes like 'whattah'. And good whattah makes bettah bee-ah.

Yeah - I remember my 8th grade English teacher, from the Big Apple, trying to correct central Pa farm boys pronunciation of creek (we say crik) and slippery. (we just say slippy) We always responded with her way of saying dog (doohg) in the water (wootah). That phrase became the name we called her behind her back.
