The "New" Google Earth

07/05/2017 1:25 PM

Let me start by saying I believe this has to be a case where someone must have been hired/promoted (by management) and they felt they had to "improve" something that worked well. What a disaster.

Can anyone suggest a way to get back to the prior version of Google Earth ?

Soooo, this is about like everything else on Wondoze 10? Nothing works while you are looking at it, so I just get up and go do something else, and the 'puter ends up on some wild page in the meantime. Or, just when you zero in on the information you want, you accidentally bump some button, and the thing goes flying off the handle into etherville.

Requires Google Chrome in order to download and run it. Always a catch or hook involved - no such thing as truly "free" in the digital internet world these days.
