Leakage Detection Through Piezoelectric Membrane

09/14/2017 3:08 AM

A 1000 km underground pipeline is facing leakage or theft problem. we are suggesting piezoelectric membrane system movable inside the pipeline. see the attachment and leave a feedback about its working probability... bearings used in this idea are made of very soft material.

I don't see any attachment, nor how a piezoelectric membrane would help.

Maybe I just don't have any vision.

Like lyn I cant see anything.

Are you suggesting a product moved PIG with piezo sensors to detect leakage?

Simple pressure gages at intervals would be simple and inexpensive.
