We have water cooling system consisting of reinforced thermoset resin pipes of 2.200 mtr.dia. One of the 'y' branches is leaking. The pressure of the cooling water system is 0.6.00 Bar. Can any agency repair the pipe line in insitu condition?

Repair of Cooling Water Pipe

12/21/2005 1:53 PM

Your leak can certainly be repaired in situ and under pressure. Some more detail is needed but special resin injected into the water will seal the leak at point of repair. Very high pressure service leaks can be sealed this way. Survey and strengthening of the rest of your pipe and fittings might be advisable and UV set fibre reinforced resin saddle stregthener can make very effective result. I've sent you and e-mail so you can contact me.
