Heat shrunk process

I would like know the allowance to be kept on I.D to have rigid fitment of pin into it after heat shrunk & heating temperature?

"rigid fitment of pin" Looks like a leader pin into a die shoe.not with that tolerance!

Press and shrink fit classes are further down...Machinery Handbook also has all the fit tolerances.

This is totally dependent on the type of steel, size, Rockwell hardness, finish of the ID. The simplest & actually the way it is normally done, is R&D.
