Biodegradable Cationic Softener Dryer Sheets

12/03/2007 2:48 PM

I have been using dryer sheets (like BOUNCE) for quite some time. Instead of throwing them away after laundry use I have instead placed them all over the house (behing furniture, under beds, etc...) to control insect population. Over all it has been very effective. But now I am wondering about its toxicity and human health hazard since some (if not all) carry carcinogens. I am having difficulties accessing government lists of namebrand toxic products. Any comment?

Here is the MSDS from the Proctor & Gamble Website. All good companies have MSDS data available on request. Most have it readily available on their websites. It is advisable to keep a record of all chemicals used in the home that are within the reach of small children. It can be vital if ingested by a grandchild or pet.

Hope this helps.

Be Careful, according to the MSDS you can have the following side effects:

1. Hair loss

2. Whitening of the skin

3. Allergic reactions to Potato Chips

4. Erections lasting longer than four hours.

Have fun
