Hello P.sakthi,

I do realise that English is not your first language.

If you hope to pass any Engineering Degree, especially a Master's Degree, you should improve your spelling and punctuation.

That is a basic requirement, and trust you do not take offence at my advice.

Every Engineer needs to be clearly understood....

Dear Sakthi,

Where do u have BTech course offered through distance education? Not In India.for All engineering degrees one has to attend a college whether affiliated to a university or Deemed university as a full time student. Please clearly state what u have in Mind.

best wishes.

I would check with the Department of Education in India to see what programs they approve of.

I do not believe that anyone on this forum is employed the government of India and could properly answer your question.

Sakhti, technically there should be another masters in engineering course by correspondence if you have a B Tech course whcih can be done thru' correspondence. But, I have doubts if these courses can get you a job and that too a decent one.

If you are working now or will be joining your father's or any other relative's running business, then these courses may be ok to gain some knowledge.

Dear Sakthi,

If u have completed ur Btech,U can do Masters in part time basis. It takes 3 yrs as against 2 years for regular. These are basically evening courses. If u want to do B.E.Or BTech you must have completed a diploma for a part time course. As far as I Know all these are recognized but attending classes is a must.No distance education (I mean By correspondence is Possible)scheme exists as I Know .

Best wishes

Check with the universities you are interested in. I am sure the answer you seek varies from university to university.
