Maybe the Inuit people can get at least one benefit if past trends continue. If the arctic thaw that opened up the Northwest Passage for the first time in recent memory continues, northeastern Greenland may become like Iceland with abundant geothermal energy availability.

Whether from magma or from the increase in CO2,

the water from melting Greenland

is of significant concern to all of us.

Why is it that Al Gore becomes somehow involved?

yes, he has been the "most successful messenger",

but do you hate the "awful gnome"

who yells at you to keep your damned boat off his reef of rocks,

or do you appreciate the information that the reef of rocks is there..??
