Wireless Transceiver

03/28/2008 3:03 AM

i am using CC1100 transceiver IC of TI which has 64-byte FIFO for transmission. However i am unable to write data in FIFO. but i have programmed the registers of the IC successfully. it also has SPI interface. and i am using ATmega16 as master.

if somebody has worked with a similar IC,pls help me!!

what do you mean you are unable to write ?

it acts the same as the other registers, check the TXBYTES reister to see the data count. maybe the chip is simply transmitting the data and emptying the FIFo as you are loading it.

you would need to post some code maybe or its a bit tricky.

there is a bit of code around if you look, also look for cc1101 and cc2420 etc as they work much the same.
