Automotive

Is Automotive gong to have it's own section, or will it continue to share with Mechanical Engineering. I find it a bit confusing right now and I think Automotive deserves it's own section...

As CR4 grows, I can see it becoming more fractured to separate the topics into subtopics.

Right now Automotive is just a forum within a section, although we do have a few automotive related blogs. We're watching the activity of this forum closely and if it takes off, we will likely turn it into a high-level section.

I agree whole heartedly, automotive is very much needed.

I am mainly deal with after market applications and a dedicated section would make sense.

Just what the Web doesn't have enough of already....the endless drone of automobile...chit chat. And advertising from car purveyors to go with it.

Seems the Auto section must have taken off! You are welcome for my brilliant suggestion...

How many millenia...for a room full of grease monkeys, pecking at random on keyboards, to write an auto manual no less incoherent or error-prone than a Haynes manual?

It would take about 5 minutes. Those manuals are horrible things, they should really fire the fifth grader they use to write them.

They probably would but he's the big guy with the bushy beard (the silver back I guess) and the tool in his hand, pictured on the manual back. Bet it's the same guy who figured out how to change a sealed beam headlight lamp by removing the entire front grill. I wonder if CR4 could ever hope to top that.
