Hi guys,
I have been using using Sony Ericsson mobile phone and their battery charger model DC4-3102EU, made in China by Astec, (input: 100-240 V, 150 mA and output 4.9V, 850 mA) supplied along with the mobile phone for more than a year now. Since last few days, I find that my mobile phone battery totally gets drained and goes dead within 2/3 minutes after connecting the charger . I guess the mobile charger instead of charging the phone, is acting as a load on the battery. What may be the reason? Is it possible to rectify the problem? Otherwise, I can buy a new charger, or throw the phone with the charger into deep sea .
Since there is no point in contacting Sony Ericsson, as I have found from my earlier experience, their service at local after sales service centres is very poor, the company based in Sweden does not reveal it's local contact details and bother even to reply to complaints on poor service . I would appreciate an answer from you guys.
