Do you mean to say used parts only?

I'm joking. We buy only qualified parts from qualified vendors, with complete supply chain traceability.

My company isn't allowed to buy from the gray market. We can only buy new factory sealed parts from authorized distributors.

It is a risk. We bought from a Chinese company and it turned out to be a disaster. Whatever you do, do not buy from TOP. However, we only use the grey market for obsolete parts.

In my opinion, it is not a good practice to buy from a broker. You cannot be sure of the origin of the parts and the environment that they went through to reach you. Also, if you expect the parts to come pre-loaded with some software, like a bootloader, you will not be assured of either its presence, or its version.

drogeta,

What if I told you I could create a site where buyers like yourself could share market knowledge about brokers around the world?

I have been in the broker business for over 12 years.

I have access to the top 2,100 brokers from over 60 countries.

I am hoping to create a broker rating system for buyers of electronic components.

If many participate, it could make the brokerlandscape much safer.

Let me know your thoughts.

Dear Guest,

by all means, any information and work that helps the proper function of the components market is welcomed. Please, post a note of the site's url.
