Wireless microphones - as manufactured - are limited in the frequency bands and power (more exactly field strength they produce). They all are limited in that by the appropriate government agency. And they are short distance devices. You can have higher power, hence longer distance devices, but they are all regulated in different categories, all requiring specific license. Without it it is illegal transmission, with consequences.
