relation between chemical composition of steel and its mechanical properties

04/30/2008 5:10 AM

Is there any empirical relation between chemical composition of steel and its mechanical properties. Steels grade are P91, P9, P22, P11 and SS. I am looking for the weldability, yield strength, hardness specifically.
