I am having at the possibility of mixing the combination of fluids in a pipe chamber by the spinning the flowing liquid mixture in pipe. My intent is to spin the liquids in clockwise direction and further downstream at a distance of say 150 mm in the opposite direction. I am hoping that the liquid will mix thoroughly in the 150mm section of the spool.
In my case the fluids enter tangentially in a Mixing TEE and later flows through a section of pipe. Installation of a mixer in the TEE is not possible, hence trying to use the energy in the pipe to spin the fluids. I expect wear of the spin section of pipe.
I am hoping that the fluid will mix in the 150 mm section spool, between the two spins.
Would anyone like to share their experience or would like to comment on any paper published on this method of mixing fluids?
