There are of course many vendors of ball joint pipe and fitting/coupling items of at least steel and ductile iron you could find with a good search (e.g. for at least 4"-8" and larger piping, http://www.acipco.com/adip/pipe/ball/).

Hello, I am not familiar with ball joints for chill water but I have on numerous occasions used a stainless steel braided hose to isolate stress, vibrations and noise from the air handlers. I have run miles of chill water in the states in mostly heavy commercial and industrial settings and never had a problem with this set up.

Try using victaulic fittings at a siesmic joint in a building. sprinkler fitters here in california have been using swing joints for years to provide flexabilaty. I think victaulic will even provide engineering. Contact victaulic.com.
