Your question lacks any obvious direction. Heat is energy and can come from many sources. The energy is converted form what ever form it is in into heat through a variety of methods.

A simple method is; the temperature of an object is equal to the heat energy stored stored in the object divided by the object's thermal capacity. That heat energy can come from power dissipation, radiation convection...
