Please refer to the current edition of the Wiring Regulations as issued and maintained by the Institution of Electrical Engineers.

Dear Mr Kannan

Sorry to give you this piece of advise.I am taking this liberty since you are also from Tamilnadu, India, and you will take this on right spirit.

Please have clear thought on what exactly you want and put this in simple and readable sentence for others to understand your thought to give you proper and right answer. If your query is not clear to others, how do you expect them to help you.

Please, therefore ,rephrase your query once again

Mr. R Kannn,

Electrical wires and cable are available for various use and size. There are copper and aluminium wires.Simple home wiring insulated wire, telephone wires and cable , computer wire and cable,co axial cable, LT cable, HT cable and ,bare Copper, Aluminium and ACSR wire used for OH distribution. Wire size is specified in sq.mm or SWG . What calculation would you like to know? All wire and cable manufacturers provide the size of cable with rated current carrying capacity. Please explain your actual requirement or question properly so that some Gentlemen can provide you a reply. Why waste everybody's time.
