Active Rfid for location tracking.

Hi,

I wanted to know how can i find the costs for rfid tags and readers, and I also intend to develop my own design. I need this components can someone help me to find the informaiton of the prices of the components and the data sheets.

RFID and RF tracking are two separate technologies. If you want to track you buy a small GPS tracker and subscribe to a service. If you want RFID for identification and inventory, buy an existing product. Both of these technologies are fully matured. Building your own from scratch would be kind of like trying to reinvent the wheel.
