Does anyone have any informations concerning the lifetime of thin film photovoltaic ?

I have read some articles on this and the main criteria for the lifetime of a solar cell is the quality and thickness of the cell. Professionally made cells range from 20 to 100 years, the longer the life the more the cost.

The home made Copper cell would last a few years before needing to be redone.
