Harmonics Regulations of Saudi

I am going to supply 30 Power Electronic equipment to Dammam, Saudi Arabia that generate up to 20% Harmonics (5th & 7th) and lower PF to 0.65.Can any one guide me will the Electricity Department there allow such equipment? or I need to put filters? The total expected load will be 300 KW.

Thank you. Our load is 4 quadrant DC power supply (Regenerative). Each power plant got 6 SCRs. Hence generate 5 & 7 th harmonics up to 28%. In the present design we did not have any filters. Also Power Factor likely to go down to 0.65. Total plant load will be around 500 KVA. Also I want to know mains voltage standards. (440V or 415 etc.)

It all depends on the size of the plant feeder. If they have 500KVA available, your system will probably attract a lot of complaints. If they have 2000KVA available, they are not likely to notice your system. It all depends on the size of the offensive load with respect to the supply size.
