can i program DS 5000 on an 8051 programmer?

lol.. nah i didn't mean that, i ment, since DS 5000 is a variant of 8051, and i was about to purchase a PROM burner. So i was thinking if the Atmel programmer would do the job or if i'll need a seprate programmer.
