Combined Heat and Power Plant

What are the negative effect when running oil fired boiler below its rated design?Previously we were operating the oil fired boiler at nearly rated design(90 barg) but currently running at about 75 barg.

Sounds good from the economical stand point but watch your stack temp. just in case in order to maintain a nice chimney draft out and avoid any chance of CO build up around. Keeping the chimney clean from soot and heat exchanger will help the operation as well, I'll bet ! Checking as well for any leaks at heat exchanger and or chimney to play safe will be a good deal absolutly, my friend. So keep it running and double check just in case. Have a good one and --Lock and Tag Out-- for safety purposes before PM's start it. Have fun...Easy does it no rush into nothing Buddy.
