different types of steel & grades

i am not an engineer, hence i would like to know abt steel. Please someone provide me a list of different types of steel , grades and their properties, superiority ,etc used in consturction company including oil & gas.

There are literally thousands of different types and grades of steel.

You need to start somewhere, and best to refer: https://www.cisc-icca.ca/product/handbook-steel-construction-11th-edition-3rd-revised-printing-2017/

That book may be too expensive for you, so try e-book downloads.

Hi...buy a copy of 'Physical Metallurgy for Engineers' by Clark & Warney from any book store. It's commonly available. Read it as a novel and you'll become pucca in a week.
