I have seen a Yagi with a Velcro strip sticker at the back of the handset to boost signal reception. maybe it will work for radio as well.

Hi,

I have a 6300 (stuffed away in a desk drawer somewhere), and I recall the FM antenna is a part of the headphones.

Frankly (and sorry I can offer more conclusive informaiton), I never used the FM radio (and gave up on the 6300 except for emergencies), because the battery life is extremely poor. Using it for a radio when it could't even last the day on one battery didn't make much sense to me.

If you want to improve the reception, I think the only way is to get a better set of earphones (or the original Nokia if you switched away from them) that has the antenna in the wires.

Kind regards,
