Here's a short challenge from my Dad's old engineering notes:

Below are shown two views of a three-dimensional object; there are no hidden lines as would be depicted by dotted lines in the diagrams. Show the side view of the object.

No 2 - replace the triangle prism with a triangle cut out of the same size.

Sorry no cad on this machine and my side view has hidden lines.

An alternative solution is the smaller inner cube is a depression into the sloped face, not a projection.

Here are two possibilities I can see from your top and front views...

A cylinder on its side and a rectangle with an arc for one side.

My drafting instructor and Shop guys would say that you do not have enough information in the other two views...

These would both show a square face from top and front views, however the inner, square projection/depression is missing. To be honest, I had not thought of the cylindrical shapes. Kudos to you.

There is enough information in the diagrams.
