Small Container

10/04/2008 12:18 PM

Gentlepeople..

Looking for a stainless steel container about 5 inches in diameter and 5 inches tall with a screw on cap.

Need about 3000 units over a 1 year period.

Your assistance in pointing to a supplier or a general link would be appreciated.

We'll need some more information.

How thick should the walls be? Can the threads be turned or must they be formed (walls to thin to turn)? Does it need to be watertight/airtight? Do you want it drawn from sheet, or can it be welded from tube and a disc?

What type of stainless? 302, 316, 4XX?

Have you considered already manufactured thermos'?

Maybe something like this one? (minus the handles and markings)

We get here in India ready made deep drawn containers of such size pressed from Stainless Steel Sheet. They have slide on cover not screw type covers. I dont know what gauge sheet is acceptable to you, also specify the grade of S.Steel.
