Wireless Keyboard

10/24/2008 7:21 PM

Hi guys,

I have four PCs located in one room. I plan to make keyboards & mouse wireless/cordless to control each PC remotely. Is there any possibility that this will not work for the reason that if I will try to move the mouse of one PC, the other PCs will be affected also? (I am thinking that wireless keyboards and mouse are usually communicating via frequency waves so I think, what if at least two of those cordless mouse or keyboards have the same frequency, then probably the problem will come.) I maybe wrong in my speculation.

Can anyone confirm or give their opinion?

Each wireless keyboards & particularly mice should have there own wireless optical receiver connected to each pc. When connected it roams and hooks up to that particular keyboard/ mouse combination.

In short I can't see any foreseeable problems, they will not work except on there own dedicated system.

Just get a KVM switch and make your life a little easier. This way you will only need one keyboard and mouse which are switchable between the pc's at the touch of a button.

Hi,

Try networking your computers, so you will have "oNE Big Computer" with multiple screens. You will then acces only one computer and be moving from one screen to the others.

Sorry for misunderstanding, I forgot to say that these four(4) PCs will be used simultaneously by four(4) persons so a control switch may not be possible solution.
