Normally I don't get involved in Global Warming discussions because it's like arguing which is better East or West. But, if you're going to bring up "news" from a year ago, you might want to check what's happened in the year since. Basically the claim of 400 scientists has been debunked:

And that's the last I'll say. West is better by the way.....

Hardly a scholarly site.

Nobody really knows the story of what is happening, but that is probably by design.

I miss the glaciers in Glacier National Monument. Worse than that, so do the city's who pump their water from the Ogalala <sp?> Aquifer recharged in no small degree by former Rocky Mountain glacier melt water. It is estimated by a geologist friend of mine that by the time T. Boone Pickens with his grandiose plan for wind farms, west to east power grid and massive water pipe lines starts pumping water from that underground water source in the panhandle of Texas to eastern North Texas (DFW) that there well may be dry wells at the current design depths to which they'll be drilled. But still - folks say there ain't no stinking climate change. Or is it that there are just more humanoid style beasty people trying to get a drink of water and a soak for their grass. It's a quandary, hmmm?

Neither Senator Inhofe nor former Vice-President Gore is an unbiased source on this subject. They are each quite passionate about their particular point of view, and neither is a qualified scientist.

The only comment I have personally made on GW, is there has been too much shouting down of divergent opinion.

Policy is made in the marketplace of ideas.

Science should be made of data. Hopefully to inform the marketplace.

If there is divergence of opinion, investigate until we know, at least more than we do now.

I know neither yeh or nay, which means it is too early for policy.

Still waiting for this to happen. They promised us 20 years ago that the sky was falling, it still hasn't. Summer is still hot, winter is still cold. Its pretty much the same as it was 30 years ago.

I also want my flying car! We were supposed to have flying cars in the 21st century! WHERE IS MY FLYING CAR!!!!!

... and don't get me started on the ice age they promised us was going to happen in the 60's and 70's!! New York was supposed to be under a half mile of snow and ice by now.

Definitely there is global warming! In Sour Lake, TX (30° North of the big circle) it snowed, last night, first time in xxx years. But due to global warming, the snow was melted till 16:30!!!
