PVC Pipes for Water and Sewage

I can't quite found out what these specifications mean:

(01) 101,372 m PVC water pipes JECE (63 mm x 3.6 mm)/10 including rubber ring

(07) 5,656 m PVC sewage pipes JSCE 50 mm

(11) 9,702 m PVC sewage pipes JECE (250 mm x 4.9 mm) including rubber ring

The numbers mean, for example:

"nine thousand seven hundred and two meters" of pvc pipes suitable for sewage water, diameter 250 mm and thickness 4.9 mm

PVC = Polyvinyl chloride not laminated
JE = ELASTIC JOINT
JS = SOCKET WELD JOINT
C = PLUG (or head)
E = SPIGOT (or cord)

(D x e) S20 and S25

D = Outside nominal diameter
e = Wall thickness

S = Series

My doubt comes to what the plug, the spigot, the elastic joint and the other stuff actually are.

Have you got a manufacturer's manual that explains these things?

An advice on a good manufacturer of PVC pipes would come handy too.

I have translated the specs from Spanish, so there might be errors as I am not familiar with piping.

The elastic joint usually refers to a mechanically restrained joint with a gasket or o-ring seal.

The Socket weld joint refers to a male to female joint, electrically or solvent welded together. This is occasionally referred to as a bell and spigot joint although that usually connotes a gasket or o-ring connection inside the joint.

A plug is usually a welded or glued male fitting that caps a run.

The spigot is the male half of a bell and spigot connection.

Is the elastic joint purely mechanical, based on the tightness of the o-ring, or does it involve solvent welding?

In many sites I have seen the bell-spigot joint as strictly mechanical but maybe I misunderstood it.
