Have you tried a search of the internet first? There is a lot of information on there regarding this (and similar) topics and should give you a lot of information, ideas and advice.

It's an obvious statement but few seem to actually do it (like reading a manual).

As this is a project you really should do the initial research first. Most of the fun and learning comes about by looking, where the rest comes from building it. Plus I don't have any designs of this type to start you off on your project.

The only other advice I can offer is to go back and have a look on the internet and in your local technical library and come back and ask something specific when you get a general idea of what you want to do. The internet is an amazing tool, if your not getting the right answers, just modify your search parameters.
