piles and load bearing and transmission mechanism

Describe the calcification of piles and discuss the load bearing and transmission mechanism of each type with the aid of neat sketches.On an investigation it is found that soil consist entirely of sandy strata and is deeper than 10m.What type of foundation you will recommend?
