"Start" button simultaneously starts conveyor and time delay (TD) relay. At end of timing cycle on TD relay, contacts in parallel or series with "Stop" button can perform same operation as "stop" button. If "Stop" button is normally closed (NC), then wire normally closed TD relay contacts in series with contacts of "stop" button. If "Stop" button is normally open (NO), then wire TD relay NO contacts in parallel with contacts of "stop" button.

I can see a few shortcomings in the circuit

1. A control breaker or fuse is not incorporated. This could be overlooked though where MCB 2 also doubles as the control breaker. However, because of its size it would only serve as a means of isolation and can not offer any protection to the control circuit.

2. In the event of an overload before the timer's set time elapses, the motor will not be disconnected. Although the overload relay O/L A break (NC) contact will open but the contactor KM1-1 coil will be maintained via the timer T1 NC contact.

You are right. The line after the timer contact that goes to the timer coil should be removed out. You need to put a MCB for the control circuit for protection.

Simply purchase an inexpensive PLC and install it; You can stat / stop / and program in time parameters............all for one price and a nice neat installation.
