Lead-acid cells come in multiples of 12V.

220V/12V = 181/3 lead acid batteries wired in series, say 19 batteries. Multiply by however many banks of nineteen in parallel are needed to give the amp-hours needed for whatever the bank is supposed to do.

What about the supplier of the original batteries? Their details will be either in the Maintenance Manual, or written on the case of the batteries.

What would be the amp hour rating of your battery bank? Industrial batteries are manufactured in individual cells of 2 volts. Case size and weight of the cell depending amp hour rating of output. These can be arrayed in a single case to your specs.

Note that a 48 VDC 1200 amp hour fork lift battery will weigh around 4000 lbs.

So I would just use individual cells. Rack them out so that they are easier to maintain.
