Come on now don't be lazy, your answer is only a google search away.

Hi jack of all trades,

I followed your link and damned if I couldn't find a DS for this item (OK-maybe too much time on my hands). It seems that some parts, if more than 5 or 6 years old, are just forgotten..

The item is there, but there is no datasheet.

http://us.100y.com.tw/ChanPin.asp?MNo=28982

I have had this problem before where the device is custom manufactured for a specific company for building into a product (in this case a variable frequency drive) and the manufacturer won't give datasheets out (I even went so far as to call the company up in my example but no luck).

Another parts search engine such as the following may help (or Tyco's site directly) but I don't think so. AH_WA70 may not be able to get the datasheet, but the part is available from a component trading house, however I think it will end up being less expensive to just replace the entire VFD, especially if the damage to the IGBT module was caused by something else on the power or control board which if left un-fixed will likely damage any replacement module (if it is a VFD application). I speak from experience here as I service VFDs.

Hi jack of all trades,

Yeah, I saw the item. Too bad they can't even give a few operating params for the device; might help them unload faster!

I even went to TYCO, but no luck there.

"device is custom manufactured for a specific company for building into a product (in this case a variable frequency drive) and the manufacturer won't give datasheets out"

I believe and agree with you!

"I speak from experience here as I service VFDs."

I envy you. My experience with VFDs has been installations & startups - and these on the order of 50Hp and under. I'm a ChemE, but when doing a new install, refit, or a problem arises, I like to get my hands dirty.

Thanks for the link.

Mike
