	dear sir,' ASTM A 335 is an alloy steel i new it but what does P11,P91 signifies? all the valuable replies will be appriciated. thanks in advance

	ASTM A335 has numerous different grades within it (with chromium and molydbenum the most important alloying elements), specifically: P11 = 1-1/4% Cr; 0.5% Mo (nominally) P91 = 9% Cr; 1% Mo (nominally with many other small percentage elements especially Vanadium) P1 P2 P5 P5b P5c P9 P12 P15 .... ... .. . __________________ A little knowledge is a dangerous thing.
