ASTM A335 has numerous different grades within it (with chromium and molydbenum the most important alloying elements), specifically:

  • P11 = 1-1/4% Cr; 0.5% Mo (nominally)
  • P91 = 9% Cr; 1% Mo (nominally with many other small percentage elements especially Vanadium)
  • P1
  • P2
  • P5
  • P5b
  • P5c
  • P9
  • P12
  • P15
  • ....
  • ...
  • ..
  • .
